I am intrigued by all parts of communication, which is why I have chosen to study Media and communications at Birmingham City University, to further my knowledge within the Field.
I have a great passion for working amongst a team, as well as having the confidence and self-belief to produce successful work individually. My infectious enthusiasm and great detail to all that I do allows me to produce nothing but positive results, remaining 100% committed to all that I do.
Experience

Smooth events ltd 20th- 23d June 2017 (35 hour work placement)
I had the opportunity to work at a corporate event in London, working for a company entitled ‘Smooth events’. Working for this company I had to complete various tasks which included:

Communicating with all attendees and visitors to ensure that they were well briefed on all the relevant information

Ensuring health and safety procedures were followed at all times.

Working with a team of over 30 people to ensure all tasks were completed throughout the day.

I had the opportunity to work at a corporate event in London, working for a company entitled ‘Smooth events’. Working for this company I had to complete various roles which included.

Utilizing electronic devices to ensure that guests and attendees had been marked present.

Working effectively in a large team of 30 individuals.

Communicate with visitors and attendees.
Prepared PR and events 1st march and 11th January 2017 (15 hour placement)
I had the opportunity to work with a Birmingham based PR and events company.
I worked at a film Premier at Cineworld and attended meetings with various media organizations alongside the director of the company. At the film premier I had to complete various roles which consisted of.

Ensuring all the press had been signed in and they had received lanyards.

Ensure all guests were well looked after.

Help compose a press release in the lead up to the event.
ITV News Central 16th-18th January 2017 (30 hour Placement)
I had the opportunity to work at ITV Birmingham, and completed 30 hours Voluntary Work Experience.

Shadowing Well respected presenters and journalists including Sameena Ali Khan and Bob Warman.

Working closely with production journalists on constructing the script for Good Morning Britain the Following Morning.

Supervising the ITV livestream, and researching news topics for the website and various other social media platforms.
Warehouse Sales Assistant 9th February 2017- Present
Working within a team, providing individualized sales assistance and advice to a variety of customers whilst simultaneously contributing to the overall performance of the shop.

Big centre television Trainee video journalist September16th- February 2016
Travelling to multiple destination and events, interviewing numerous individuals, to produce enough media to take back to the studio to edit for the news that same evening

Organizing, planning and managing my own time, to travel to the designated destination, carry out the interview and return to the studio with a set time scale, allowing me to enhance my efficiency skills to a great degree.

Privileged with the opportunity to carry out interviews regarding the opening of Grand Central Birmingham, Clothes show live, restaurant reports, fashion reports, large charity events and secondary school events throughout the West Midlands.
